Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki
The author uses real estate for most of his examples, which may make the reader feel like this is a book about real estate, it is not. This book is more a book about how to think of money, how to learn about money, and how to make money work for you. Just googling the author and the book title will result in hundreds (maybe more) YouTube videos and other people summarizing the financial education in this book. However, the problem with other people summarizing knowledge is they add their views and what they believe to be the important highlights. It is important to read this book to understand how changing the way you think about money will change the way use money and start having money work for you. The author is honest and explains that there is no short cut or quick way to get rich, you need to start small and grow your wealth. The ideas and concepts are highlighted through real estate because that is what the author does, but it is pointed out that it can be done other ways. Additionally, learning should never stop and expanding scope of how money works for you should always be considered.
If you read this book before it wont hurt to read it again, and if you have never read this book it is worth a read.
