A Grief Observed

A Grief Observed by C.S. Lewis

An honest reflection of the grief a spouse experiences when their partner in life dies.  C.S. Lewis writes through the process of grieving for the love of his life.  The pain, grief, and raw thoughts are there.  Explaining that it is a process and nothing can be the same for when a husband or wife survives the love of their life.  A short read, only 76 pages, but the emotion present is heartfelt and honest.  While there is nothing that can be said to ease the pain one feels, this book might be the best thing a person grieving could read.
