With All Due Respect

With All Due Respect: Defending America with Grit and Grace by Nikki R. Haley

This is an interesting book, it is not exactly an autobiography and it is not a full political reveal all either. I read this, because of the mixed reviews and news it was making. I figured I wanted to read for myself what the book said and what the content was.

It is mixes some behind the scenes with personal history, but nothing that would seem shocking or overly personal in her history.  The book wasn’t about leadership skills, but had some hints and insights into what some people view as important leadership skills. I am not sure the book had huge take away life lessons either.

While I was disappointed that there was not more behind the scenes information about the United Nations, I am also fairly confident the information that most people wish was revealed could not be told in this book, and maybe ever.

This is not a bad book, but it is not as revealing as some people (including myself) might have hoped it would be.
