I have been busy studying for an exam next week, and I have missed the special feeling that comes when you hear the binding Open on a new hardcover book or the stiffness of a paperback becoming softer as you read.
You don’t get that sound or feeling when you open an app on a computer, tablet, or smartphone. In my opinion the feeling, smell, sound, and touch you can only get from a physical book is why local bookstores will never fully disappear.
Book lovers will only be able to understand the special feeling I have written about here. What was your favorite part of opening a new book?
For me it is the smell and the feeling of a good quality paperback.
