Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Wrath of the Triple Goddess by Rick Riordan
Percy, Annabeth, and Grover have a new assignment to help Percy get into college, all they have to do is pet sit two mythical pets for a goddess, what could possibly go wrong. The pets escape, and in trying to get them back there is a new hell puppy for the goddess to take care, and a ghost army that destroys part of the goddess’s mansion. Thankfully, Camp Half-Blood is there to help contain the chaos and help rebuild. Percy follows through with promises made to the mythical pets to talk with the goddess about how she could help them, which was her intent when she made them mythical animals. Percy also learns that his mother almost went to the goddess’s school before she shut it down, and his guidance counselor had worked at the goddess’s school and wishes it was still in existence. In talking with his mom and guidance counselor Percy realizes the importance of the places like Camp Half-Blood, and the goddess’s school and is able to explain that to the goddess as well. The only complaint about this book is the length of time the reader will have to wait until the next book in this series.
Fans of Percy Jackson and Rick Riordan will not be disappointed in this book, and the world that Rick Riordan creates with his amazing stories.
