Butter, Sugar, Magic

Butter, Sugar, Magic by Jessica Rosenberg

This book is fantastic! Not to be said lightly, this book has humor, self-discovery and self-growth, starting over, finding friends, and best of all magic! Cassie is freshly divorced, trying to convince her pre-teen daughter to try living some place new and both of them discover they both have magic in their blood. Cassie learns about her family history, and starts trying to solve the mystery of who stole her aunt’s book. With the help of new friends Cassie and her daughter, Aurie, make the best of a new start to their lives and their magic. Looking forward to finishing this series as the characters seem to remind me of a magical version of Gilmore Girls.
