The Warren Buffett Way

The Warren Buffett Way by Robert G. Hagstrom

The billionaire investor’s method for common stock selection and company ownership are evaluated and explained, at least in part, in this book. The success of Warren Buffett can easily be boiled down to research on the company and management, then buying stocks with most importantly holding the stocks for years not days, weeks, or months. The continued holding of a good company’s stock is what allows for the investor to generate a return on their investment; lower the risk of investing; and not be bothered by the daily (or minute by minute) change of a stock price. There are some case studies and chart on the company’s common stock holding. While the book was written a decade ago, the lessons sill clearly hold true. For those that are interesting in becoming more financially literate, understanding investing in the stock market and how the most successful have been so successful, and why the most sought after man buys what he buys it is worth reading this book.
